Fancy 'robber' stops for seafood dinner
A man was arrested on one count of bank robbery after using a taxi for his getaway vehicle, police say.
The 27-year-old Scottsdale, AZ man allegedly walked into a Wells Fargo Bank, placed a bag on the counter, demanded money and then fled on foot.
Upon canvassing the area police discovered that Robert Solfisburg (pictured) had called a cab from a nearby Jiffy Lube. Cops were able to contact the cab driver, ID the suspect and determine his whereabouts.
The cab driver dropped off Solfisburg at a McCormick and Schmick's restaurant. He was arrested upon exiting.
Ironically, McCormick and Schmick's feature a $1.95 bar menu so you don't have to rob a bank to eat there.
