If you're going to call police to report $10,000 that's gone missing, be sure to double check you didn't forgetfully stick it in your microwave, tucked away with two pounds of narcotics.

Because that's what a McComb, MS man did, according to cops.

Denonta Thadison, 28, called to report money had been stolen from the hotel room he was staying in with his girlfriend, Thashedrea Seals.

When police arrived to search the room, not only did they find $9,370 inside the microwave, but they also say they located two pounds of crack cocaine. They also found Seals' 16 month-old-son who, in a surprise twist, was not in the microwave.

The two were arrested for possession of crack cocaine and the child is now in custody of The Department of Human Services.
