Cell Blockhead
Stephanie Hull, pictured, used a stolen cell phone and called a bomb threat into her high school on September 18th that triggered a lockdown, according to police in Sparta, MI.
Seems that Hull, 18, failed to realize that mobile phones can act like little GPS transmitters, allowing cops to pinpoint their perky-looking suspect right to her bedroom. She was charged with one count of making a false report or threat of a bomb or harmful device and could face up to four years in prison.
She also faces false report of a felony charges for allegedly telling police that someone had swiped her phone, and then later admitting that it wasn't true. During that time when she said she didn't have her phone but actually did, police say many on Hull's contact list received "threatening or harassing text messages from her phone."
Dumb protip: This is not what the friends and family program is for, people.

This was madness! Madness? This is Sparta!

HAHAHAHA I remember readin the news posts on this incident. Everyone all complaining to one another about levels of security. Meanwhile the whole time its this nit-twit doing a stupid prank for who knows what reasons.
Ultimately, put the girl in local prison for a few years let her get her 'ten lashes' and lets move on.

What Stephanie did was wrong the way technology is they can track everything that we do. Whether you are on the internet, phone, cell, etc, etc. you just have to be careful. She probably though that she can joke around but it's serious and know you are in so much trouble for lying to the cops. Stephanie, you may be doing alot of time in jail, and hope that they give you probation and that you have learned your lesson not to do this ever again. Thanks, Brenda

Wait..so she, told the police her phone was stolen, then texted people in her phonebook (some friends) harassing or threatening them, then called in a bomb threat...
you can't treat a psycho like a normal human being, death penalty plz

Yeah we did this in HS too back in 74...no cell phones then and they had to let all the kids out of school for the day, which was the reason why we did it. Yes it was a stupid prank but the world was a different place then. What was basically harmless then has a whole different meaning today.

Jillian, death penalty? For doing stuff almost every teenager does? Granted the threatening could be resolved.. take her to get some therapy. Shes just a kid though, I dont think the death penalty is nessicary for her as much as it is for serial rapists/serial killers..

That was totally wrong and dumb of her. Surel;y she should know by now that everything you do in this day and age can be traced and tracked. Phones, computers, cars, everything. This is a different world today, everything you do can be tracked and traced. She learned that the hard way!

wow some one at my school did the same thing i think 2 years ago but they were able to come back last year. I remember he stole my friends phone. They thought it was her so they pulled her to the side an talked to her. She didnt even know it was gone. But luckly they found him. also lucky me cuz it was during lunch and had soup, milk, a coat, and plenty of time out of class. Every one else was freezing cuz it winter at the time.
