Confessions of a Pushy Stage Mom
In the new comedy video Puppet Rodeo by Kevin Maher there is much hilarity as puppets ride real puppies.
It's awesome. It's mega dumb.
And my dog Stan is in it.
I'm serious. It was filmed back when it was cold out and you see him for a nanosecond in the intro and he gets a credit at the end.
But mostly, his mutt-butt wound up on the cutting room floor.
I got a screengrab (see Stan shaking it below), my memories of being on set (dang -- my dog wouldn't do anything but attempt to leave) and dreams of larger parts that will lead to his inevitable canine fame and fortune.
This is not the first video my dog has been barely seen in. He had a wee part in a video on the truTV Speeders page you can see if you scroll down and find "But I'm late for Karaoke" and he also got credited on, but cut out of, "Proposals" on peggyandsteve.com. Man, my dog is a loser!
Private to Stan: One more showbiz screw up and it's back to living under cars in the Bronx for you!
