Sleepy Suspects Give Cops Pot Luck

Pot_leaf_dice Anthony Gossett and Nicholas Houston, both 18, fell asleep in their Mitsubishi Eclipse with a bag of marijuana in plain sight, according to Officer Don Nation of the Athens, TN police department, who reported that he saw the pair snoozing with their stash on the front seat.

After the initial wakey wakey, the officer searched the car and allegedly found they had a huge bag containing 26 smaller bags of the wacky weed, that were worth about $1,000.

As for the difficulty of a bust like this, Officer Nation acknowledged, "they made it pretty easy for me." The young men were charged with possession of drugs for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Image: Another sure-fire way to have cops search your car for drugs is to have these pot leaf car dice dangling from your rear view mirror.  That's what they're for, right?

I Don't think fuzzy dice with pot leaves on them qualify as probable cause for a search. <3

it's ridiculous the time judges gave drug user and small time dealer in central mississippi.

Who cares!? It's just pot! Bust the meth heads!!

weed is bomb we have to legalize it!!!!!!!!! we must take action now!!!!!!!!!!

a dice with leaves on it I doubt allows them to search

but then the police could say, drug could be hidden inside or something
