'Reefer for Teacher' Alibi Gets Man Booked June 11, 2009 11:56 AM | permalink

After sheriff's deputies received an anonymous complaint that Oulay Inthaphone, pictured, was growing marijuana at his home, they paid a visit to the St. Lucie, FL man yesterday. Inthaphone initially claimed  the plant was "part of a school project," but soon admitted the herb was the illegal kind, according to the arrest report.

Inthaphone, 26, was also in the possession of  rolled pot cigarettes, Ecstasy pills and a pipe, deputies said. Authorities didn't buy the chronic for class excuse and Inthaphone now faces a felony charge for drug cultivation and two for possession.

Gotta love the ol' "Anonymous Complaint". That garbage needs to be done away with. If you are willing to call the police, identify and make claims about a specific person, you need to be identified as well. If those LAPD cops Perez and Durden taught us anything, it's that yup, believe or not, even cops can be corrupt.

Other than that, this dude is a moron for letting the cops walk in and showing them his weed...musta been high.

They just need to legalize it and go after the people with the harder drugs out there and stop wasting the time on petty stuff like this since it is legal in other parts of the country like Colorado. The war on drugs is never going to win.

As I've stated before I'll state it again.

Liberty is the most hated word in America.

We have to ask ourselves did the person who made the "Anonymous Complaint" violate the privacy of the individual arrested??? How did they find out?? Where they looking in the windows like a freak? Or was it the cops breaking the law and snooping around without a warrant.

Because of these questions I think it is unfair for this site to label these persons ad dumb criminals.

I've already informed this site that the moment I become and attorney I will be filing a law suit on behalf of many individuals who have been slandered by this site. The case will revolve around defamation and libel / slander.

The case will be brought against the site owners and the persons posting the stories. This is not a free speech issue as you have labeled these persons criminal without evidence of a trial or a guilty plea. This is slander and libel case closed. I guess peeps keep forgetting that you are innocent until proven guilty.

And as far as the who annomamous complaint goes it was more then likly a competitor of his who complained about him or a friend who got mad at him OR GOD FORBID the cops actually did there job and have to use a poopy excuse like that to make it possible cause there are too many people like you who stand up for people who make bad choices ...... Now look i think pot should be LEGAL EVERYWHERE but the fact is it isnt and if your gonna break the law you cant be mad when/IF you get caught ......
