Megan Fox: Can We Get A Backlash Going Already?

Share

MeganFox I'll say it.

Megan Fox is not that hot.

Yes, she looks nice standing around cars and laying on motorcycles, and omigawd guys, she's such a fox that her name is even "Fox!" And, and if you take the last letter off of her first name it spells "megafox!" Oh, and she says she's bisexual, which is totally great becaus-

OK, enough. Is nobody else's BS detector going off here?

Megan Fox is cute, there's no getting around it. But so is this girl. And this one. And this one. I just get a little skeptical when the writers from every stupid entertainment site and lad-mag falls off their seats drooling over a chick whose major accomplishment beyond "being generically hot" is her crucial work as a marketing tool for a movie about robot fights. I apologize, I mean a marketing tool for TWO movies about robot fights.

You can say she's the sexiest woman in the world till you're blue in the face, but I can click around the internet for all of two seconds before finding an equally attractive woman who doesn't have a day job as a McDonald's Happy Meal toy with boobs.  And while I'm at it, since when do we need a hot girl to sell a movie about robot fights?

You show me a movie about robot fights that needs to market itself with a hot girl, and I'll show you some lousy robot fights.
