Out of the Mouths of Hollywood Babes
In a recent interview on The Daily Beast, actress, comedian and new mother Amy Poehler gave five parenting tips. The second one was, "Always remember where you put your kid."
While one might assume Poehler was joking, it seems Sean Paul Braynen, pictured, could've used this bit of sage advice. Yesterday Braynen allegedly drank so much he forgot where he'd left his kids, according to police in St. Petersburg, FL.
Braynen, 42, called 911 to report his kids missing, only to find a neighbor later called police to say they were still with her, exactly where Braynen had left them.
He admitted to cops he'd been drinking and was charged with felony child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Maybe as a public service we should start a "tips for dumb parents" section of the blog and include wisdom such as, "don't let your kid bathe with his favorite toaster" and "remember to diaper the end that isn't looking at you."
