McNuggets 911 Update: Hear the Tapes!

Yesterday we told you about Latreasa Goodman, the woman who called 911 because a McDonald's was out of McNuggets.  Today, the three calls she made to emergency services regarding her meal are  available on tape and they are as awesome as you can imagine.

Our fave way to experience these is a YouTube video featuring all the calls spliced together that's hosted by a guy inexplicably wearing a tie and a coat inside a dank baby-toy filled living room.  Enjoy!

I SORRY I AGREE WITH HER IF THEY REFUSE TO REFUND HER MONEY. THEN SHE DID THE RIGHT THING TO GET HELP AND MAKE A RECORD OF THE PROBLE. SO SHE COULD THAT THE PROBLEM UP WITH THE DISTRICT MANAGER.

Okay, THE GUN, agree with her, but it's not the proper use of 911. I'd hate for police to be tied up with her complaint with McD's when someone's beating up my loved one or stealing from my store.

Yes, get "help", get documentation, but DON'T DIAL 911. That is not it's purpose. She could have called the standard police # & gotten help. I've heard of people dialing 911 for dumb things & this is definitely one of them. With the economy the way it is even police/emergency are having to cut back on personnel, so don't tie them up with your customer complaints. There are FAR better ways to handle it. Besides, McNuggets IMHO are McNASTY!!

no she didn't...if you have a problem with the service somewhere you don't call the cops that's retarded, if she needs to take the problem up with the district manager look up the number to the corporate office and call them, not the underpaid overworked cops who have WAY better things to be spending their time on. And the whole not refunding her money bit was probably just a load of crap...

well who do you call if a company is ripping you off, they should not have taken her order or her money if they couldnt fill the order....the police were probably to busy drinking their mc coffee to be bothered with a crime

I agree with her to an extent but, she should have taken the issue up with somebody higher than a shift manager (I'm assuming that's who told her she couldn't have her money back, I work at a McDonald's and nobody "high up" on the scale is there very often), but to call 911 isn't the right thing. She should have asked for the Owner of the store or reported them to the police, by stopping by the local office or calling the local office. But she shouldn't have tied up 911 when there wasn't a real emergancy.

911? Over McNuggets?
Whats wrong with this McMuffin Head?
"911"..Whats the Emergency"?..
They...they don't have my McNUGGETS!"..Send help"!!

(911).. "Swats on the way,Mame..remain calm".
Way to much saturated fat floating in this girls head..

Oh come on! First, how does a McDonald's run out of McNuggets? Second, did it occur to this idiot that the first call should have been to McDonald's customer service? (1-800-244-6227) Was she planning on pressing charges over a ten piece McNuggets? Really? They should take the McDonald's manager and this retard and fire them into space.

Wow Iv'e heard of some stupid things before but this is at the very top. I agree she should have been fined severely. Maybe a few days of jail food would set her straight.

Calling 911 because a resturant is out of food is stupid. Like any other prank or bogus 911 call it wastes taxpayer money and it could potentially cost someone their life by taking away police/fire resources that are supposed to be for REAL emergencies.

Its clear she called 911 because she believed she was due a refund. It isn't uncommon to call the police in the case of a civil dispute. Stupid yes, intentional misuse probably not. I had a dispute with a storage company who held my stuff hostage because they believed I damaged their moving vehicle. Problem was they already signed off on my rental stating i returned it in pre rental condition and fully refunded my securty deposit. Called the cops, they showed up to force the storage place to give up my goods. I can understand if she thought she was being stolen from. Not to mention the operators reinforced her belief that it was a reasonable request by offering to send an officer to the scene. If they are required to do that, the system is obviously flawed, and its not something she should be in jail for.

Yeah, um call the cops, not 911, which is meant for an immediate emergecny.

She gets what she deserves. Intentional or not it's misuse plain and simple. Perhaps if the idiot was made to do some time in the clinker to think about what she did, paid restitution then made to listen in on real 911 calls then perhaps she'll come to understand what 911 is truly for and not to settle a dispute which could have easily been resolved with the store owner or at worst case scenario in small claims court.

I can imagine that others not in the USA reading the above are laughing at how our society has stopped to this level.

On the surface, her call was idiotic...However, if the roles were reversed and she refused to pay for a meal in a restaurant, the employees would have called the cops and she would have been charged with theft.

You guys are mixing up COPS with 911. They are NOT the same.

Calling the cops for a dispute is ok. Calling 911 is STUPID very very STUPID. She should go to jail for that. 911 is for emergencies ONLY. It brings cops, fire trucks, and ambulances.

The number to call is on the bag. If she is willing to call 911 over the nugs, then she could of gone to another store to get the number and some nugs. She is dumb.
