Bank Robbers Should Watch More Television
If alleged bank robber Thomas Banno (pictured) watched more truTV, he may never have been captured.
Let me explain.
Banno, 40, used the back of a CVS receipt for his holdup note, and although he made off with a bundle of cash, information gleaned from it quickly identified him, according to cops in Walton County, FL.
I am quite sure that if he'd tuned into The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest and seen this clip of the Ocala, FL bank robber who used the backs of personal checks for his demand notes, he'd know that a blank piece of paper is your best bet when holding up a teller.
Banno was apprehended, taken in by cops in Panama City on an outstanding worthless check warrant and was then charged with felony bank robbery in Walton County.

DOH!!! I just hate it when criminals leave all the info needed to capture them. Course if we didn't have them...this site would called something else, right?
Every criminal should know that you always leave some sort of evidence. But for goodness sake, don't leave athorities your life story & then some. DOH!!!

Tommy was my boyfriend in the
80's, he actually comes from a good family of restaurant owners in Dallas, Texas. However, some of us actually GOT jobs instead of living off the family's money. Good Lesson to learn for future generations here.

the only ones that watch tv is DUMMY fbi and law enforcment DUMMYS to see if they is anything to spot at bank robbery s and the DUMMY S pray some one tips them off or presses an alarm to catch the broke bank robbers

Thank you for all you very wise comments...however did you ever stop to think that this man may not be bad or evil but...mental ill? and our system will not help to get them the help they need. Did you know that there are more people in prisons that are mental ill than in the Psychiatric hospitals?
