Edward R. Pluhar Jr. cut in front of a man at the checkout line in an Indiana Wal-Mart. The man suggested he wait his turn. Edward R. Pluhar Sr. then told the man that if he didn't mind his own business he would kick the guy's "posterior*" and might shoot him, according to police.
How did the police get called? The man the Pluhars allegedly threatened was an off-duty officer. D'oh!
After the cop identified himself, the Pluhars left the store and, attempting to flee, allegedly hit the officer's leg with their van.
Father and son were arrested and received this free family portrait from the county jail.
*Although the paper notes he threatened to kick his "posterior," I've got a hunch the elder Pluhar used a different and saltier word.
