I admit that it's a a little slow around the Dumb desk this morning. Susie is skiing and several of us are really unenthusiastic about being back at work after the holiday. We were considering a post about the uproar developing in Vermont over the issue of snowboards which feature pictures of pretty girls, but there was split here, along sex lines, as to whether that product is really stupid or not (I not only thought it wasn't stupid, but felt it was pretty close to genius).

So, just so you know we're actually in the office, here's our first post of the week. Sure, it's about former First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln making a surprising appearance in the news, but still, we have to start somewhere.
