The Turkish government may not admit it but officials there have been so distracted lately that they’re starting to make some really embarrassing mistakes.

To be fair, I’d probably be a little distracted too if society was falling apart all around me.

Emily Harris, a 9-year-old British girl, recently managed to pass through Turkish customs with a phony passport identifying her as a unicorn.  Yup, the picture on the passport wasn’t even a human but a pink unicorn. Emily’s mother said that the customs agent just looked at it, asked Emily how old she was and sent her on her way.

In 2009 British Chancellor George Osborne bought a cat, Freya, for his two kids and after only a few months it disappeared.

Freya, pictured here on Downing street, reappeared three years later but some officials think that the cat may be spying for the Chinese government because of its interest in high security areas. Well, cats do have a reputation for being fickle when it comes to loyalty.  And you gotta admit this cat looks mega sneaky.

I guess it makes sense to use a cat for clandestine work. They’re loyal, obedient, and really easy to train. Oh, wait, no they’re not. Cats are the exact opposite of that!

It’s reported that Freya has been spotted trying to do her nefarious work in many venues…
