The Turkish government may not admit it but officials there have been so distracted lately that they’re starting to make some really embarrassing mistakes.
To be fair, I’d probably be a little distracted too if society was falling apart all around me.
Emily Harris, a 9-year-old British girl, recently managed to pass through Turkish customs with a phony passport identifying her as a unicorn. Yup, the picture on the passport wasn’t even a human but a pink unicorn. Emily’s mother said that the customs agent just looked at it, asked Emily how old she was and sent her on her way.
