A technician in China was very publicly busted recently for taking care of personal business on company time.
Police said that Yuan Mou was servicing a Jumbotron near the Jilin Railway Station when he ran into a few technical difficulties. And by ‘technical difficulties,’ I mean he forgot his computer was still plugged into the screen outside when he started watching a skin flick.
The movie was shown on the giant LED screen outside for about 10 minutes before he received the mood-killing phone call from his boss. By then it was too late, the incident spread across social media to become the fail of the day.
No charges have been filed yet and authorities are still investigating the incident as they’re probably watching and re-watching the movie for more clues.
In case you’re curious (and I know you are), the movie projected on the screen was from the erotic film “Xin Jin Ping Mei” or better known as “The Forbidden Legend: Sex and Chopsticks” in the Hong Kong/English version.
Netflix doesn’t have the movie, I checked. For research purposes. Yeah, let’s go with that.
