If not, take a gander at what Mashable is calling “a jaw dropping highlight” from “the world’s greatest basketball player.”
Just realize it’s everything that’s wrong with NBA basketball:
What kind of showboating, goofy-ass garbage is that? And from the best in the game?
Congratulations on your two points, idiot.
That isn’t a basketball play, that’s a parlor trick, a stunt, a show of blatant disrespect to your opponents, your teammates, and the game.
If I’m the opposing coach, I call out LeBron in the post-game press conference and say if he wants to play like a rodeo clown, he should go to North Korea with Dennis Rodman and the Globetrotters.
And for all the fans of the game that loved that clip, let me refer you to this priceless VHS tape of “best touchdown celebrations of the 1980s.” Seriously, the “Ickey Shuffle” had more class. If that’s your game’s best player, and that’s what you’re using to sell the game- you need to do better. You know when a making a basketball play like that makes sense? When it’s halftime, you’re dressed in a wolf costume and you just jumped off a mini-trampoline. You know who should make a play like that? A guy holding a T-shirt cannon.
What a disgrace.
If somebody did that in a hockey game he’d get punched in the face, and rightly so.
What’s wrong with people?
