The Toronto Maple Leafs are not the best.
They have lost five games in a row, are currently in a three-way tie for eighth place in their conference and they haven’t made the playoffs since Justin Bieber was ten.
Of course, back in the early 1990′s, when this video was made, The Maple Leafs had stars like Doug Gilmour, and were actually pretty good. Not the best. The Penguins were arguably the best in those days, so long as you aren’t judging by hairstyles. Anyway, this is a 10 minute music video that is you’re going to THINK is so bad it’s good, and then you will realize that it is 10 minutes long, you were given life on this earth by your creator as a gift, and to spend 10 minutes of that gift watching this video represents a slap in the face to God himself, or, if you aren’t religious, a slap in the face to your forebears, who worked and struggled all their lives to get you to a point where you could sit behind a computer watching webjunk, instead of, you know getting eaten by a bear, or dying of dysentery or something.
But it is worth watching at least a little bit of it. It is humorously awful. And Mike Meyers is in it! For no reason! Check it out after the jump:
