January 26th is Australia Day! In case you don’t know what that means, it’s basically Australia’s Fourth of July. Of course, since it’s all the way on the other side of the world, and nighttime there when it is daytime here, it’s only logical that they observe the holiday in January, not July, and they aren’t celebrating their independence from Great Britain, they’re commemorating the day the British showed up.
I’m pretty sure the toilet water swirls the other way when you flush down there, too.
