The holiday season of giving crap is upon us. Cyber Monday means that most workers will be at their desks buying horrible gifts instead of doing their work. But employers often look the other way because the alternative — people actually leaving their desks ever — is far worse. But before you buy some “deal” that will drain your life savings, we need to know: Which iStock photo of families engaging in online shopping is more cracked?
First up, “Portrait of a happy family having online shopping” — and yes, that really is the title:

Or this photo:
It’s a hard choice.
The first family has shopping bags ready as if the merch is going to instantly fly out of their screen. Also, they are just far too happy about this dull activity.
The second family gathers around the tree wearing Santa hats as if online shopping is a fun and festive thing, instead of what it really is — for people too lazy or agoraphobic to go to a mall. Also daddy’s trophy wife is holding up her credit card as if she might anger the virtual cashier if she’s not ready. Also the kid in the second photo looks really sad because he is aware his parents are idiots.
