The Olympic Games in London kick off today and for the next 17 days, everyone on Earth will pretend to be interested in track & field.
In order to prepare for this international athletic spectacle, the UK has put way too much effort and money into a few dumb preparations — such as rich people-only Olympics-only car lanes.
