After watching this video, I've come to the conclusion that the Russian people are a crazy mix of Heidi Klum and Tyler Durden. Who else would be crazy enough to start a high heel racing competition? Better yet, who would be dumb enough to participate in an event that sets the women's rights movement back about a decade? Plenty of people actually, and it's all for the chance to win a coupon for a shopping spree. That's right, all the winner gets is a coupon to a clothing store. I guess if anything is going to lessen the humiliating sting of falling on your face, it's going to be a new dress.
