
So much for Big Gulps and monster-sized sodas.
The New York Health Department is looking to ban the sale of sugary drinks and sodas larger than 16 ounces from restaurants and food carts in an effort to combat rising obesity rates. This comes after a law requiring that food service establishments list a complete calorie count of food items on their menus.
