The tattoo artist in this video is Dave Hurban and he's the kind of guy who wants to literally feel music in his body.
Hurban's latest innovation in the field of tattoo art is called the iDermal and it involves surgically imbedding four small magnets into your wrist that you can connect to your iPod Nano. If you don't know what a "dermal" is, for the love of God DO NOT Google the term! The things I saw…the things I saw.
There are a host of questions that people must have, like, what would happen if he gets an itch in that area and accidently scratches the magnets off? However, the two most common questions are probably: "They still make iPod Nanos?" and "What's an iPod Nano?"
Why would this guy stick magnets into his arm for something that's basically on the way out? It's like someone from the '80s bolting a portable 8-track player to their back years after the cassette tape made it obsolete. If you're going to do something like this to yourself, do it for the latest iPhone or iPod.
At least that Mario Bros Piranha Plant tattoo was pretty cool!
