Real men use Biomen Shampoo, and apparently so do murderous xenophobes.
Watching this video, it makes you wonder if this company's marketing department has the intelligence of a two-year-old. The video in question features a clip of Adolf Hitler in one of his classic rants, but with the subtitles showing him promoting a product from Turkey called Biomen Shampoo.
Why would anyone want to associate Hitler with their product??? If anything, the sexist tone of the commercial alone would make you not want to wash your hair. But some of you may recognize the similarities with this commercial and the popular 'Hitler Hates' parody on Youtube. One can only suspect that instead of coming up with something original, the marketing geniuses just wanted to piggy back on the parody's viral success.
But where this commercial really fails is HOW they portray Hitler. The YouTube videos portray him as a sniveling little temperamental brat, but this commercial paints him as a manly man who uses only the manliest of shampoos. A brave, rugged man! Not exactly the kind of words one would associate with Hitler and certainly not with their product.
Let's just hope they don't use Gadhafi to promote their deodorant.
