Watch this cocky guitarist’s massive stage dive fail

Share

Stage diving has become a requirement in concerts, especially heavy metal ones. But if you're going to stage dive, at least be nice to the people who are supposed to catch you.

In this video, a guitarist for the heavy metal band Mandragora walked on stage to accept an award but instead of just giving a speech, thanking his producer, fans and Satan, he threw beer into the crowd and stage dived, expecting them to catch him. Now keep in mind, these weren't fans who were in the crowd. They were professional photographers doing their job.

As a professional photographer with thousands of dollars worth of equipment, what are you supposed to do? Catch the guy that just threw beer at your camera, or let him face plant? I'm surprised they didn't kick him while he was down!

This stage dive fail may not have been very metal, but at least it was hilarious.
