Breaking a world record is an incredible feat, but if it can't make you enough money to move out of your mom's basement then it may be time to focus on something else.
In this video, the world record breaking paper airplane was thrown by Joe Ayoob and designed by John Collins. Apparently, it takes two people to fold a piece of paper and draw some rockets on it if you want to compete at the professional level, but at least all those weekends of working on paper airplane designs with the occasional Modern Warfare 3 break have finally paid off.
And when the record was finally broken, the crowd went wild!!! And by crowd I mean several dozen people. Look folks, if there aren't enough people to fill the few seats you have it's not an event, it's a barbecue. Although I have to admit after he tossed that paper airplane, the 4th grader in me was pretty impressed. But the adult in me felt sorry for his mom.
At least the prize money will (maybe?) help him pay for that bus ticket home.
