If we had a penny for every dumb new Internet trend we cover on this here blog, we'd probably have… at least 50 cents.
So what's the new planking, owling, horsemanning and Batmanning? Supermanning. The act of sitting out the back window of a car and appearing to fly by the driver as if you are the popular cape-rocking superhero. The various Supermans in this video can be seen asking for directions, bumming cigarettes, and generally shocking the pee out of drivers.
I predict this trend will last all of two weeks. Because once the number of car accidents skyrocket and backseat riders start falling out of fast-moving vehicles, people will (hopefully) recognize this meme's extreme stupidity.
