Poll: Should people be easier on January gym-goers?

Share

Dumb Poll

After spending the past two months gorging on sugar cookies and popcorn balls, many folks are starting the year anew, kicking off 2012 with a vow to be healthier. Fitter. To get that lean, I-need-to-get-laid bod just in time for bikini season.

So gym memberships rise, zumba classes fill up and finding an available treadmill is like scoring a good parking spot at Walmart — nearly impossible. This is annoying to all the fit, self-righteous sweat monsters who are angry at the newbies for temporarily taking over their territory. Because everyone knows that many of these fitness fledglings will likely quit come February, once they realize that doing the Cheetos cleanse is way more fun.

But whether or not these rookies quit, at least they're trying to improve their health and well-being… right? Or should they all just go home now, so the hard-bodied champs can have their gym back?
