Last month, we featured a video of some Chinese "Gomer Pyle" tossing a grenade with very little success. Apparently, the problem isn't just limited to one soldier. Their military field guide's chapter on "grenade throwing" must not include a lesson on "when to let go."
This time, the recruit forgets to release the grenade when his arm is in front of him. But at least he has the good sense to jump out of the path of the grenade — that's what we call progress. Maybe next week, one of their soldiers can actually get the explosive device out of the bunker entirely!
