The dumb mom of a flatulent middle school student has turned a minor disciplinary incident into a personal pro-farting crusade.
Two Ohio middle school students received a one day bus riding suspension after they farted in unison and caused a ruckus on the bus. Other students started laughing, jeering and lowering windows. The bus driver claims the two had done this before and were warned about their coordinated wind-breaking.
One boy's mother was outraged by their bus suspension. She also disputed the school's description of the act as an "obscene gesture."
Has this lady ever ridden a school bus? Those things are zoos on wheels. A bus driver should get two paychecks, one for driving and another for riot control. Suspending kids from the bus is the only power they have and they should be allowed to use it as they see fit.
Yes, it's silly to label a fart an "obscene gesture" but you know what's sillier? Raising a stink in defense of your child's stink. You've turned your gassy anonymous boy into a smelly local celebrity.
There are so many important civil rights out there that are worth fighting for so please don't distract the world with your campaign to protect your child's right to fart.
