A Hasidic newspaper photoshopped Hillary Clinton out of the now famous photo of Obama's National Security team watching the takedown of Osama bin Laden. They supposedly did this because she's a woman and therefore sexually suggestive. That is utterly ridiculous.
You could argue that it's ridiculous to alter history and reality for the sake of discriminatory religious beliefs but that's not what I find absurd about this. The part I have trouble wrapping my head around is the part about Hillary Clinton being considered sexually suggestive.
No human being has worked harder at or done a more effective job of completely eradicating any sense of gender identity. She's not a woman. She's a living weapon.
A painstakingly-honed and finely-tuned political and diplomatic weapon. Removing her from this photograph is akin to erasing an F-15 from a picture of the deck of an aircraft carrier.
The only time we saw her express genuine emotion, either feminine or masculine, was her teary moment after losing the New Hampshire primary. This, by the way, was my favorite Hillary moment. It was a brief glimpse of her as a person, as opposed to the tank we usually see grinding its way further up the political mountainside.
It has to be hard to relax and let your guard down though when every time you do someone fires a rhetorical rocket launcher at you.
For this reason the newspaper Der Tzitung shouldn't have worried about Hillary's feminine wiles accidentally enticing their readers. As for the other woman towards the back of the photo they removed, they were totally in the right. She's slutty. I can just tell.
