This week in Great Britain, 28-year-old Amir Ali was finally jailed after being convicted for attempting to firebomb a pub in Sussex. He was sentenced to 8 years in prison. So why is that so dumb? First off, the attack happened in May of 2008. Second, the entire incident was caught on security camera footage. Third, this was the footage.
Seriously, Great Britain? It took your legal system more than two years to put away a guy who was caught on camera not only committing a crime, but running directly into a lamp post afterwards? To be fair, they might have tried to get him into jail earlier than that, only to have him repeatedly run directly into the bars, instead of walking in the open cell door.
