An Arizona inmate who allegedly attempted a prison break was caught on the outside bloodied and naked after his clothing had been torn to shreds on the security fences.
Clayton Thornburg (pictured) who had been imprisoned in the Durango Jail, scaled five fences covered in razor wire to attain freedom for only a few minutes according to police.
By the time the 24-year-old reached the last fence he had lost his prison uniform and pink, standard issue underwear and was bleeding from cuts all over his body.
Although Thornburg may go down in history as the first inmate to escape Durango Jail, he now could face an additional 5 years tacked onto his sentence.
