A teacher in Manatee, FL has earned himself a 5 day, no-expense paid vacation from his job after posting to Facebook how much he hated his teaching job and students.

He also shared with his on-line community of friends the fact that he hated coming to work.

Well, problem solved.

The teacher may end up being banned from Facebook, Twitter and Myspace but the good news is that he will have plenty of time off to catch a matinee of The Social Network.

The district is proposing strict rules for teachers communicating on-line since this doesn't cast a favorable light on the school.

While that is true, would we rather return to the days of educators just telling you to your face what a hopeless loser you are and then slapping you with a ruler?
