The need to over share every moment of our life via social networks reached a new level of stupid this month.
Not only do people bombard the internet with brilliant opinions and the everday minutiae of their lives, they also feel pretty confident about sharing details like say, from a trial in progress.
A Michigan woman serving jury duty in Mt. Clemens is in deep doo-doo after posting to her facebook account that it's "gonna be fun to tell the defendant they're guilty."
While this is completely doltish behavior in and of itself, the trial was NOT OVER YET.
20-year-old Hadley Jons of Warren, MI faces potential jail time after the defense attorney's son who works in a law office discovered the post on Jons' wall while checking jurors names on the internet. She was removed from the case and hopefully learned her lesson to, hello, make all of her facebok settings private from now on.
This is especially upsetting for me because I wanted to tweet to everyone what I had for breakfast but instead I have to write about this social networking nincompoop.
