Shana Poquette, pictured, was arrested for attempted murder after she got in a fight over with another surfer and tried to hold a woman’s head under water, according to police in Waikiki Walls, HI.
In her exclusive interview with a local news station Poquette, 38, describes how the incident spanned over a few days and was over wave territory issues. She explains how dropping in on someone’s wave is like taking someone’s parking spot. And about the incident she said, “”Right when she called me a **** again everything just went crazy…” — which to me doesn’t sound like a defense that is going to hold water.
The alleged victim was able to get free, the news dubbed it another case of “surf rage” that is reaching “epic levels” and Poquette claimed self defense.
It’s clear to me: At least one of these ladies is a total beach.
