David Colin Crockett, pictured, was in a Billings, MT court on Tuesday to plead not guilty to a felony drunk-driving charge where a judge released him and told him not to drink and drive. Hours later, he was arrested on suspicion of driving with a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit.
Officers say they spotted Crockett’s car stopped at a major intersection with his door open and a flat tire. He then allegedly made a turn without using his signal.
When cops pulled him over he put his hands in the air and said, “I’m sorry, I’m a little drunk” according to court records.
Officials say this is Crockett’s fifth DUI offense. He’s also charged with criminal contempt.
On Wednesday he appeared in court by video from the county jail.
Hey, remember this young lady who was arrested for DWI twice in just a matter of hours?
