3M’s invention of the Post-it Note: ingenious.
Turning over a similar type of document to police when they ask for identification: stupid. Especially when you provide the wrong information.
Fernando Febles was a passenger in car stopped by Pennsylvania State Police near Allentown for multiple traffic violations. When officers asked him for ID, Febles allegedly gave them a sticky note with "his" name and date of birth. A quick check revealed he had given them false information.
Police say Febles then claimed he accidentally gave them his cousin’s info, so he tried to get his name right a second time.Cops soon discovered his real identity and why he was so hesitant to reveal the true information–there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Faced with the news, the suspect allegedly tried to take off.
Febles, 22, is charged with providing false identification and resisting arrest. He is also wanted on several drug charges.
