Martin Junior McMurray, pictured, of Blountville, TN was arrested Friday for allegedly driving his lawnmower on the wrong side of the road and ignoring police sirens and loudspeakers for half a mile.
When McMurray, 46, finally did pull over, he was unsteady on his feet and had a “strong odor” of alcohol, say cops.
McMurray told police he “had a few beers with dinner,” and officers
found an unopened cold one in his jacket pocket, according to the police report .
He is charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license and being a habitual motor offender.
In his defense, I don’t think you need to have a license to drive a lawnmower.
