Getting called into work while I am out, sucking down a few cocktails, is the last thing I want to happen. But apparently one Florida firefighter has a different idea of a good time.

According to Port St. Lucie cops, Charles Robert Sunser, pictured, got loaded and activated the fire alarm at a local bar during a birthday party for his boss. You know, the firehouse supervisor.

Two bar employees reportedly busted him pulling the lever.

“I did something stupid, I’m very drunk and didn’t mean to cause trouble,” Sunser allegedly told cops. “We are here for my boss’s birthday, I’m sorry.”

Hmm… perhaps he should explore the possibility that he's a workaholic.

Sunser, 31, is charged with making a false report.
