Dumb as a Blog

Until Facebook Do Us Part

Share

Last week, a Maryland man, Dana
Hanna decided to interrupt his wedding ceremony, while on the altar to update
his marital status on both Facebook and Twitter, much to the surprise of his blushing
bride, Tracy.

Then, because I am sure the moment
wasn’t humiliating enough for @TracyPage, he decided to post the video on
YouTube for the whole world to see.  And
who am I not to pass on this dumb groom move?

Dana aka TheSoftwareJedi on Twitter even included a lovely note:
“This was just done to be funny – we really don't Facebook THAT often :) . I have a lot of family scattered around the country and we all use Facebook
a lot to keep in touch.”

Ha. Ha. Ha. Ok Dana, you think you’re really
clever, huh?  But here’s a warning.  Right now, you are getting a ton of attention and being the good newlywed bride that she is Tracy is giving
you the ‘ol wink and nod and perhaps even a ”thumbs up.”  But trust me software jedi.  You will pay dearly for that stunt. Maybe not
today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day the piper’s coming to cash in.  And when that happens who ya gonna Tweet?

Tell me what you think, was his move
Dumb or Clever?
