Hott Cops is a blog that has been featuring sexy law enforcement officers — and nothing but — since March 2006. The officers showcased are mostly male, and that's how Hott Cops wants to keep it. Real cops on truTV are often declared "hott" and are regularly on display. So of course, I had know more.
The woman behind Hott Cops wishes to stay anonymous because most of her extended family knows nothing about her cop fetish. But luckily, she had no problem letting us get to know her a whole lot better with an exclusive and mega-entertaining interview. Enjoy!

Sorry. Simply not enough time in the day to work AND watch the Hott Cops on truTV.
I started watching COPS for the humor — I mean, the "life lessons" — and I began yakking about which of the officers were good looking in my personal blog. The majority of my seven readers are guys and for some odd reason, they didn't want to hear me talking about good-looking tough guys that weren't them. They kept threatening to leave my blog completely if I didn't knock it off, so I told them I was going to start another blog devoted entirely to cops where I would talk about them 24/7/365 if I felt like it. And soon Hott Cops was born.
Are you surprised by how many people dig a daily fix of fetching law enforcement officers?
I honestly didn't think the site would take off the way it has. In '06 I had about 50k in hits, and about 125k in '07. Then in the first ten months of 2008, I've had almost 300k hits. I also never envisioned it would be this much fun.
Why are men in blue so attractive to you?
Men in blue (black, brown or green) are my favorite. For me, it's a combination of the "big strong man to the rescue" factor, their self-confidence and those crisp, sexy uniforms.
Can you show us your favorite truTV cop at the moment?
"At the moment"?! Come on, now, I'm loyal. My crushes last for months. I have two favorites: Deputy Grant Henderson of Palm Beach and Officer Mark Miller of Brick Township, a Speeders regular.
Have you ever dated a cop? Do you want to?
No, I've never dated a cop, and because of the site, I feel I should. I'm a fraud if I don't, right? At least that's the reasoning I tried to use on my husband. Didn't work. Before you ask, yes, my husband knows about the site and he just rolled his eyes. He knows he's Numero Uno with me. He is not a cop, but he does take great delight in hiding my cop calendars when they arrive in the mail. In all seriousness, I would never advocate dating a man simply because of his profession. Unless, he's a millionaire with his own chocolate factory. That's a no-brainer.
What is your favorite truTV show for spotting fetching cops? 
God bless the creators of Speeders. I. Love. Them. And what a folksy format. They talk with the officers, show a little of their fun side and they convey the message that cops are human, too. Plus Speeders has sweet camera angles of the officers and my readers appreciate that.
Other than police, what type of man interest you?
Cowboys. Is truTV planning any cowboy shows in the near future? It would be another dream come true, and I think the web addy HottCowboys is still available.
Have you ever seen a handsome officer and been tempted to break the law just to get close to him?
With this economy going bust, I can't afford higher insurance rates. May I just say though, I've been stopped three times and nooooo tickets. Wink, wink.
I personally like troopers and any cop working with a dog. Do you have a favorite?
I, too, love the state troopers and the K9 officers, although the PA state troopers need to rethink the location of that chin strap. I think it's a prerequisite that K9 officers be exceptionally good looking because I haven't seen an ugly one yet. It amazes me that they're able to train these dogs to bring down a criminal, yet still be gentle with children, while I can't train my dog to find her water dish. I must also give a shout out to Secret Service Agents, who look so fine with their short haircuts, sunglasses and suits.
Have any of the cops featured found themselves on your blog and contacted you?
Yes, many of them have found it, and I've been contacted by some of the guys. I'm never really sure how they're going to react to the site. One California news station even did a story on the site because I featured a lot of their officers. The Red Bluff officers took it all in fun, and I love that reaction because that's how it's meant. Most of the cops have told me they've taken razzing from their co-workers. The cops I've heard from have all been very nice. I've also heard from some of the wives and girlfriends who have also been very gracious and they thanked me for showing some appreciation for the job their guys do.
