Rumor: Romney Tanned Himself To Win Latino Votes

Mitt Romney is like a cornered dog, lashing out in all directions as he flails his way to this theft of a Presidential election. As the ex-Gov. is currently trailing President Obama by more than 40 percent among Latinos, he has apparently decided to try to snag this crucial demographic with eight different attacks at once.
Those who watched Romney during Univision’s “Meet the Candidate” interview might have been tinkering with the color levels on their television set. The presidential candidate was uh… more brown. While Romney’s skin tone isn’t as pasty white as his cardboard personality might sometimes suggest, he certainly looked different on Univision.
Some are saying he was Snooki-colored, while others have accused him of flirting with “brownface.” But, in this writer’s opinion, his roasted look might be sign that his campaign was cooked long ago. (Sorry, bad pun.) At the end of the day it would seem that whatever the reason for Romney’s tint, it was a shady attempt to appeal to Latino voters. No pun intended.
George W. Bush once garnered 40 percent of the Latino vote, and things certainly worked out for him, at least electorally. So, it’s easy to see why Romney is desperate to appeal to the Latino demographic. Especially after a hidden camera
caught him saying that it would be “helpful to be Latino.”
Romney might have really done himself in this time, as the skin gaffe seems to have cost him even greater Latino support. It also didn’t seem like a good idea to blame the Univision make-up staff, as pictures of him already looking “extra tan” were captured when he landed in Miami.
