Megadeth Singer Accuses Obama of Staging Shootings

When the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed to be from the same state as President Bush, the world went wild. Dixie Chicks albums were burned and boycotted. But when Dave Mustaine, lead singer for Megadeth, accuses President Obama of staging the Aurora Colorado shootings and the attack on the Sikh Temple just to pass gun control legislation, people rioted at the insulting stupidity of it all.
Just kidding. No one rioted, But internet commenters shrugged, calling Mustaine “brain dead.” So… that seems fair.
According to the Huffington Post, at a recent concert in Singapore, Mustaine said, "Back in my country, my president…is trying to pass a gun ban so he's staging all of these murders. The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."
Unfortunately, Mustaine isn’t the only crazy out there. Gawker reports that on a Conservatives4Palin.com message board, a user wrote:
“Commenting on yesterday's massacre in Aurora, Colorado. I'm gonna catch heck for this, but i am going to say it anyway's. I believe the Obama administration is behind this. Not one week from the rumored Obama signing of the UN Gun Ban Treaty ,on Friday the 27th and Obama is 'Gift Wrapped' this horrific slaughter, that he can take and use to Obliterate our God given Second Ammendment Right's. Bulshe! This ain't no coincidence!”
And of course, there are those conspiracy theorists who let Obama off the hook completely and just go straight for the Illuminati. According to TheIntelHub.com:
“The Illuminati card game first appeared in 1995 after its release by Steve Jackson Games and seems to directly predict events that have happened in the 17 years since its release. It has since been written about thousands of times due to its actual depictions of real events. A similar card game called On the Edge was released a few years before and one of the cards in the deck seems to depict the Aurora Colorado shooting.”
TheIntelHub.com has the pictures to prove it. But if you want that brand of crazy, you’ll have to head over there.
