Andrew Breitbart’s Death Inspires Obama Conspiracy Theories

Andrew Breitbart, a noted conservative activist, author and publisher, died suddenly Wednesday at the age of 43. While a note on his website specifically referred to the death as "natural causes," that hasn't stopped Breitbart's friends in the right-wing media from speculating on all manner of terrifying scenarios.
Commenters on Reddit have helped popularize a rumor that Breitbart was murdered because he was threatening to expose compromising videos of President Obama in college. But it's not just the news aggregator that believes the theory…
Not to be outdone, Twitter users were whipped into a conspiracy frenzy, hinting, alleging and outright accusing the government for having Breitbart murdered in order to silence him. Gawker posted screenshots of many of these Tweets. One from Radio host Erich "Mancow" Muller stated, “He told me RECENTLY he had big dirt on Obama… MANY believe it's murder!
"Does anyone else think this was foul play?" another user wrote. "Did obama send his chicago goons to murder breitbart?" "The Bush/Clinton clan kills again," went another. But the most bizarre Tweet from a Breitbart fan was worded in such a way that it could be interpreted as accusing Obama of personally carrying out the murder, based on zero evidence: "#Breitbart dead at 43? My suspect list includes George Soros and Obama."
But even before his death was confirmed many Breitbart supporters were smelling something rotten in Denmark, alleging that rumors of his death were a hoax by the hacker group Anonymous. While the truth is still to be determined it appears that even in death Breitbart was as divisive as he was in life.
What do you think caused Andrew Brietbart’s untimely death?
