What evidence is there that Michael Jackson is still alive?

Pearl Jr.: One is that Michael’s real name is Michael Joe Jackson, but the name on the death certificate and other death documents is Michael Joseph Jackson. La Toya Jackson has verified that his middle name was Joe, not Joseph. Jermaine includes that as a detail in his book. When this same error with the middle name was made during the 2005 child molestation trial, it was corrected. Why hasn’t it been corrected this time? I think it’s because the person in that grave is someone named Michael Joseph Jackson, but it isn’t the King of Pop.

There are so many other mysteries. To this day, there’s no name on the grave, and the grave site is hidden. Why do that when Michael really belonged to the people?

We know the ambulance photo was faked. Nude, possibly faked autopsy photos have been released, but Michael didn’t have an open casket funeral. There are discrepancies with the will, too. Michael’s name is wrong. The kids’ names are wrong.

This Is It was supposed to have been done on the cheap, but it really was done professionally and involved many cameras. Michael supposedly died 12 hours after there was enough footage to make a movie. This Is It features a movie called Gilda, where the lead fakes his death and comes back. There have even been [rumored] sightings since his death. [Ed. Note: The production behind This Is It has scoffed at these rumors, insisting they are complete fabrications.]

truTV: There are similarities between Elivs' death and MJ's…

Pearl Jr.: At first Elvis went into cardiac arrest. Then his death was ruled a drug overdose. Elvis was found with 14 drugs in his system. Michael was found with seven. [Michael was obsessed with the number seven, and multiples of seven appear frequently in the details of his life and death.] Elvis and Michael were receiving drug cocktails at the same times during the day.

Both Elvis and Michael had discrepancies with their middle name on their death certificates. They were both buried at cemeteries called Forest Lawn. There’s Graceland vs. Neverland. The similarities go on and on. [Ed. Note: Let's not forget Michael married Lisa Marie Presley and they remained friends after divorcing.]

TruTV: What’s the point of lying about Michael Jackson’s death? Who stands to benefit from this?

Pearl Jr.: Death can be a great career move for a celebrity. Michael’s the top-earning dead celebrity. His estate has grossed well over a billion dollars. There’s enough money to pay off all the debt. Michael could’ve always cashed out and had $200-300 million if he sold the Sony catalog, but he definitely wouldn’t have to sell it now. So my impression is that the biggest benefactor to all this is Michael Jackson himself.

TruTV: What about his children?

Pearl Jr.: Those kids look very happy and well-adjusted to me. I think that he would’ve prepared them for something like this. I’m not sure if Jackson family members know it’s a hoax or not. Taj Jackson, Tito’s son, just announced he’s directed a zombie series. Zombies are the living dead.

TruTV: What does Dr. Conrad Murray know? Has he agreed to take the fall?

Pearl Jr.: I don’t know. Whatever happens doesn’t change the facts. When Elvis’s doctor went on trial for overprescribing, there was a hung jury first and then he was acquitted.

We also know that the police didn’t lock down the Carolwood house for four days, and there was no surveillance of one of the exits of the house. We don’t know who was coming and going. We also haven’t heard about the testing of Michael’s brain or hair.

TruTV: If he’s alive, do you predict MJ’s going to resurface?

Pearl Jr.: In This Is It, Michael does say, “We’ve got four years to get this right.” We assumed it was something with the environment, but we don’t know what he was planning exactly.

TruTV: Are you staying on the case until the truth is out? What keeps you going?

Pearl Jr.: I don’t want to minimize my credentials as a journalist. I believed Michael was dead for eight months until I couldn’t ignore all the evidence otherwise. I’m not some loopy, crazy fanatic. I think this is a fascinating story that needs to be shared. I’m very surprised that big media hasn’t picked up on it.
